This series consists of a record of all notes that were borrowed from the Branch Bank. Included are the date on which the note was borrowed, the name of the person paying the principal, the names of the persons paying the securities, the note number, the amount of the note, when the note is due, when the note was issued, the amount and date of judgment, and any special remarks. The types of notes that were issued were notes according to the twenty-first and second sections of an 1837 act, Creek Indian Loan Notes, extension notes, bills of exchange, notes discounted, and ninety-day notes.
